Park Hotel Asarel

The hotel is really nice. Has a good parking lot, the rooms are well maintained and got enough space. The lobby is big with a lot of tables for potential team building activities; while on this topic - there is a football field. The restaurant was also nice - we had only breakfast and it was default block table experience, but everything was fresh. The only real down side was that there was no fridge in the room or anything to heat up a meal or even a glass of water for tea, but that’s probably intentional so that you use the lobby bar.

Rooms are comfortable. They had all the essentials needed (plus hair dryer). Even though I was on the first floor, the terrace had a wonderful view towards the forest (or actually the park side, it's park-hotel, right). I love terraces so I liked this one. It's great that it's built with some privacy in mind (the neighbors on the left and on the right side can't easily see you). Bathroom was great, the hotel amenities as a whole - too. Staff was very friendly! I'm taking one star off due to the not very good noice insulation of the rooms. During the night, in case someone is walking down the hallway or neighbors are opening/closing doors... you can hear it all. Especially when it's silent everywhere around. My room was next to the door for the upper floor stairs. Every opening and closing had this very loud annoying noice, which makes you jump in your bed in the small hours of the night. Other than that, I had a great time. Note to myself next time: probably get a room on the second floor or at least one that is not next to the doors.
